Greenhill Students Participate in Pete Sessions Leadership Program

U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions (R-TX-32) announced that six Greenhill Upper School participated in the annual Pete Sessions Leadership & Growth Program (PSLGP) in Washington, D.C., this past summer.
 
Robert Gao '19 and Ryan Zlotky '19 participated in the first session while Haley Lieberman '20, Jose Portela, Samantha Ungerman '20, and Reid Zlotky '19 participated in the fourth session. The students had the opportunity to see how the government works firsthand while learning invaluable leadership skills and visit historic sights.
 
"Our students are the future of our great nation. That is why each year I am delighted to welcome young leaders to Washington for my leadership and growth program," said Congressman Sessions. "This program challenges them to sharpen their minds, expand their horizons, and be the best that they can be."
 
Students had the opportunity meet with congressmen Bradley Byrne (R-AL-1), Dan Newhouse (R-WA-4), and Ken Buck (R-CO-4) - members of the Rules Committee - as well as Chairman of the Energy & Commerce Committee Greg Walden (R-OR-2), and Michael McCaul (R-TX-10), who is the Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee.
