Hornets SPC Championship Standing Undecided
The Greenhill baseball team did not receive an official final standing in the 2026 SPC Championship due to a game rainout.

The Greenhill baseball team entered the 2026 SPC Championship as the #7 seed team to face St. John’s School. The Hornets took a 1–0 lead in the top of the sixth inning, but St. John’s responded in the bottom half to even the score at 1–1. The game went into extra innings, where St. John’s loaded the bases and secured a walk-off win in the ninth inning, 2-1. Philip Turner led the way with a standout performance on the mound, pitching a complete game with multiple strikeouts. Greenhill was supposed to play St. Mark’s School of Texas for fifth place, but due to rain, the game was canceled and will not be rescheduled, bringing their tournament run to a close. They finished the season 5-11-1 and 3-2 against SPC opponents. |
