Greenhill Hosts First Nonprofit Fair

Greenhill Hosts First Nonprofit Fair

Greenhill welcomes 35 nonprofit organizations to the Upper School Service Board’s first Nonprofit Fair.

On December 9, all Upper School students were treated to the Upper School Service Board’s first Nonprofit Fair. The goal of the fair was to raise students’ awareness of the area's many nonprofits and the various ways to participate in community service.

Representatives from 35 nonprofits across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex participated in the fair and helped introduce Upper School students to real-life issues and motivate them to make changes beyond the Greenhill community.

Service Learning is an essential part of Greenhill’s mission and identity. Guided by our vision – We see our world made more hopeful because of the Greenhill community – we believe that service is not simply an activity, but a way of learning, leading, and engaging with the world. Through service, students discover their capacity to make a meaningful difference. They learn to take initiative, respond to real community needs, and understand the power of collective action. These experiences foster empathy, purpose, and a deeper awareness of the world beyond our campus. Service shapes students into compassionate, informed, and empowered citizens who carry the values of kindness, responsibility, and hope into every community they join.
