Student Selected for Prestigious Bronfman Fellowship

Congratulations to Henry Lipnik ’27 for being one of just 26 North American students named to the Bronfman Fellowship’s 40th cohort.

Greenhill's Henry Lipnik ’27 has been selected as a 2026 Bronfman Fellow, an extraordinary honor recognizing intellectual curiosity, leadership, and a deep commitment to Jewish learning and community.

Founded in 1987 by Edgar M. Bronfman, the Bronfman Fellowship is a highly selective, international program that brings together exceptional Jewish students from North America and Israel. As a member of the Fellowship’s 40th cohort, Henry joins a distinguished, multi-generational community of more than 1,600 alumni from Israel and North America, including some of today’s most influential Jewish writers, thinkers, and leaders.

During the Fellowship Year, he will be one of just 26 North American students chosen to participate in an immersive experience that includes a summer study experience in the United States and Israel, monthly online seminars, and in-person gatherings.

“We are confident you will make a significant and unique contribution,” said CEO Rebecca Voorwinde on behalf of the Bronfman Selection Committee. “I offer my congratulations along with those of the rest of the Bronfman faculty and staff. We look forward to an inspiring experience together, and welcome you to a lifelong association with The Bronfman Fellowship.”

The Fellowship places a strong emphasis on active participation and sustained engagement, encouraging Fellows to learn from one another’s perspectives while exploring Jewish identity, ideas, and responsibility in a complex world. The experience continues beyond the Fellowship Year, with annual collegiate retreats and ongoing alumni initiatives that foster long-term connection and collaboration.

Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
