Student Qualifies for Rowing National Championships
Congratulations to Margaret Starrs ’29 for qualifying for the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championships.

When Margaret Starrs ’29 first started rowing last summer, she likely did not know how far her newfound passion would take her in such a short time. She took to the sport quickly, making an elite club team, Founders, as a novice. And, earlier this month, Margaret qualified for the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championships in the Double U17 category. The national championships will take place this summer in Sarasota, Florida, where Margaret will compete among the country’s top youth rowers. This is an impressive accomplishment for any athlete, but especially notable for someone just one year into the sport. We look forward to cheering her on this summer and as she continues to pursue her passion! |
