The Congressional App Challenge is the most prestigious student computer science prize, sponsored by members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Each representative hosts a district-wide challenge for middle school and high school students, encouraging them to learn to code and inspiring them to pursue careers in computer science. Amrita Madhavanur ’29 earned third place in the TX24 District for her app, TeenShare. Her app helps users identify and protect sensitive personal information before posting online using smart detection, risk scoring, and masking tools to prevent oversharing. Congratulations, Amrita! |
