Seniors Earn Commended Student Honor in National Merit Program
Congratulations to the 31 Greenhill seniors who were recognized as Commended Students in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Thirty-one Greenhill students were named Commended Students in the 71st annual National Merit Scholarship Program. These students are recognized for the exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their performance on the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®). Congratulations to these Commended Students:
About 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for placing among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2026 competition. “Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," commented a spokesperson for NMSC. “These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.
