Hornets SPC Championship Play Rained Out
The Greenhill softball team was unable to play in the fifth-place game in the 2026 SPC Championship, so they did not receive a final placement.

The Greenhill softball team entered the 2026 SPC Championship as the #7 seed team, to face Hockaday School at Greenhill (due to weather). The Hornets jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, securing a 10–0 win to stay in contention. They faced a tough opponent in the quarterfinal round. They held their own through the first three innings, keeping Houston Christian scoreless, but the Mustangs eventually found their rhythm, and our Hornets fell 0–12. The team was unable to play in the fifth-place game, so they did not receive a final placement. They finished the season 7-8 and 4-2 against SPC opponents. |
