Staff Member Recognized by CASE
Congratulations to Katie Young, Director of Alumni Relations, for receiving CASE’s Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence.
Recently, Greenhill’s Katie Young, Director of Alumni Relations, was recognized with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education’s (CASE) Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence. “It is a special pleasure to recognize your contributions of wisdom to your fellow professionals,” said Sue Cunningham, President and CEO of CASE. “This award is given only to faculty who have been judged by their students to be ‘stellar speakers’ at 10 or more entirely different CASE conferences. It is a distinction that signals you have shared your expertise generously and that you have much more to contribute in the years ahead.” She was also named a CASE Laureate, joining a community of senior volunteers who have provided invaluable service to CASE and to the mission of advancing education to transform lives and society. “These are among the highest honors CASE bestows on advancement professionals,” Young said. “I feel deeply grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to learn from and contribute to colleagues across the profession since joining in 2008 – through conference committees, presenting, serving on the Alumni Relations Commission, and teaching at the Summer Institute. I’m humbled by the incredible people I’ve met through these teaching opportunities, and thankful to know that, through the years, some have found my presentations helpful in their own work.” ABOUT CASE For 50 years, CASE has defined standards for the advancement profession and demonstrated the value of education, serving a global community of educational institutions and nonprofit organizations. |
