Band Students Garner Superior TPSMEA Ratings
Congratulations to the Greenhill Band members who received a Superior rating in Texas Private School Music Educators Association contests this semester.

This semester, Greenhill Band members have competed in Texas Private School Music Educators Association competitions. Below are the results.
Solo/Ensemble Contest
On February 28, Greenhill student-musicians performed their solos for an adjudicator who gave written comments and a rating (I – Superior, II – Excellent, III – Good, IV – Fair). All students who earned a Superior rating on the hardest music qualify for the State Solo/Ensemble Contest. Greenhill students earned 99 Superior medals, and 31 qualified for the State contest:

TPSMEA State Solo Contest
On May 9, a group of Greenhill Band members participated in the TPSMEA State Solo contest after qualifying for how well they did in the TPSMEA Solo/Ensemble Contest.
