Alumni Volunteers

The mission of the Greenhill School Alumni Board and Association is to foster connections and further the mission of Greenhill School through the enrichment of its alumni, support of the school and service to the community. Our goal is to provide connectivity, advancement and value through our social networks, events, publications and personal connections. The Board consists of alumni leaders who represent Greenhill alumni from the past 70 years and works to promote, support and advance the programs and services provided by the Association to the Greenhill alumni community.

Board Service

Thank you for your interest in the Greenhill School Board. As the advisory board to the Alumni Association, the Alumni Board seeks candidates who are proven leaders, demonstrate service to the Greenhill alumni population, are experienced in working in a collaborative environment, and are committed to serving as Greenhill ambassadors in their communities.

Board meetings are held every six weeks and each board member serves on a sub-committee in the areas of Advancement, Service, Nomination or Programming. The Alumni Board hosts several campus events throughout the school year. The board consists of up to 37 members with approximately four to six new members joining each year. This is a national board, members can live outside of Dallas.

Members serve a provisional one year term which begins on July 1, with a mutual option for a second two-year term. There is a five-year term limit. New members and nominators will be notified of board selections in the spring.

Duties include:
- Attending (6) annual board meetings (either in person or virtually)
- Attending and supporting Alumni Board sponsored events
- Supporting the Greenhill Fund
- Serving on a board committee

The board seeks new members annually. If you are interested in joining the Alumni Board, please click here to fill out an interest form.

Alumni Ambassadors

Are you looking for a way to reconnect with your classmates while also helping Greenhill to grow? If so, you might be a perfect fit for the  Alumni Ambassador Program!

Alumni Ambassadors serve a critical and exciting role representing their graduation classes, connecting with their fellow Hornets, and growing fundraising efforts for the Greenhill Fund - a fund that bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Greenhill education.

Time commitment is minimal. We will provide the content and materials to share with your classmates via text, email, and / or social media. You can be as active as your schedule allows… all we require is the enthusiasm to connect with your friends and the desire to do good for the School!

Alumni Ambassadors can assist the alumni office with:
- Reviewing class rosters and helping us find ‘lost’ alumni
- Assisting with donor gratitude
- Sharing classmate news with the Alumni Office
- Communicating important School updates

Ambassadors will receive additional information and can join optional virtual training sessions. Many classes do not currently have Ambassadors and others are looking for additional assistance.

Please click HERE if you are interested in serving as an Alumni Ambassador.
