Greenhill Debate Sets New Records at TFA State Tournament

Congratulations to the Greenhill Debate team on a historic performance at TFA State, highlighted by record participation, top finishes, and landmark achievements.

Greenhill School is proud to share exceptional results from the TFA State Tournament, held just before Spring Break. This year marked a milestone for the program, with 48 students qualifying for the state tournament – the largest number in program history. Greenhill also earned fourth place in Sweepstakes and was recognized as a Top Ten School in total qualifiers.

TFA State brings together students from public and private schools of all sizes who have advanced through significant competitive success during the season, making Greenhill’s results especially meaningful.

The tournament also marked a historic first for the program: Greenhill students competed in the final round of all three debate divisions in the same year. In addition, three policy debate teams advanced to the semifinals, another program record. Individual and team highlights are below.
