Student Named Finalist in International Songwriting Competition

Greenhill’s Alex Gamble ’30, AKA Lexi Lee, has been named a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) for one of her original songs, Own Way, placing her among a small group selected from nearly 13,000 submissions worldwide. She will perform Own Way at Greenhill’s MS/US Mosaics Dance Show on Wednesday, April 1. Advancing to the finalist round represents a significant achievement, as only approximately 2% of all entries reach this stage of the competition. Songs are reviewed through multiple rounds of evaluation, with a listening committee assessing originality, composition, and overall artistic merit. Finalist selections are now being reviewed by ISC celebrity artist and industry judges, who will determine the winners. Winners are expected to be announced by early May, once judging is complete.
