Two Greenhill students recently earned top placements at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter competition, one of the most recognized vocal competitions in the United States. Renee Tse ’28 won 1st place in the High School Girls Classical Singing category. She also received the competition’s only Outstanding Award in that division, a notable distinction recognizing exceptional performance among all high school classical singers. Ivy Liu ’34 earned 1st place in the Children’s Musical Theater Singing category, showcasing both talent and poise far beyond her years. Although their winning performances took place outside of school, both students bring their passion for music to Greenhill’s performing arts program. Renee has been a dedicated member of the Upper School musical each year since seventh grade and most recently served as a song captain in the fall production. Ivy is active in the fourth grade choir and participated in Greenhill's musical last fall as well. We are incredibly proud of both students for their hard work, artistry, and commitment to their craft. Congratulations to both singers on this wonderful achievement! |
