Faculty Artist Featured at Steamroller Event
Congratulations to Greenhill faculty artist Thomas Martinez for being a guest artist at the third annual steamroller print event.
Greenhill faculty artist Thomas Martinez is putting the finishing touches on a striking 3-by-3-foot linoleum print for the third annual Parish Print Fest & Steamroller Smackdown, happening this Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at Parish Episcopal School. As a guest artist, he will showcase his work alongside a lineup of live music, hands-on art workshops, and the spectacle of large-scale printmaking – with an actual steamroller. The theme for this year’s event is Press + Play: Exploring the Music History of DFW, and it promises to be a celebration of creativity, community, and artistic expression. The following schools are participating: Parish Episcopal School, Ursaline Academy, The Hockaday School, Cistercian Preparatory School, and GFF Design. Greenhill School has participated in the event in the past. Unfortunately, with the event falling on Greenhill’s Homecoming, not enough students were available to participate this year. The Greenhill community is invited to support Martinez and experience the event themselves. EVENT DETAILS
