Greenhill Alumna Published in the Pioneer Research Journal

In the summer/fall of 2021, Caroline Greenstone ’22 took part in the Pioneer Research Program, which partners high school students with college professors to do original research projects at the college level. Over 4,200 high school students applied from around the world, and 1,178 were chosen to take part. Of those, the 26 best research papers were selected by the professors who run the program and published in the Pioneer Research Journal — and Caroline was one of those 26 selectees. Caroline is now a first-year student at Barnard College in NYC.

The Pioneer Research Program provides undergraduate-level research opportunities to talented, intellectually motivated high school students from around the world. It is the only online credit-bearing research program for high school students that offers STEM, social sciences, and humanities disciplines. In the Pioneer Research Program, selected students work one-on-one with leading U.S. university professors in advanced study and research of a topic of interest, culminating in a full-length research paper. The program is conducted entirely online, allowing high school students from all over the world to participate.

Congratulations Caroline!
