US Students Finish Eighth Overall at TSJCL Convention

This past weekend, 29 Greenhill Upper School students competed at the Texas State Junior Classic League Convention at Anderson High School in Austin. The US students finished eighth overall in the Sweepstakes, and many of the students earned a berth to the National JCL competition, which will be held in July at North Dakota State University.

In addition, Nicole Stachowiak, TSJCL Torch Newsletter Editor, produced an excellent Midnight Torch and was selected as the second VP of the convention. Christine Wu received the top score in Latin Oratory, and Veda Velamuri guided the team as the Greenhill Consul.
