Greenhill Seniors Published in GOA Catalyst Exhibition Showcase

Greenhill students Grant Fisher ’23, Katie Frymire ’23, and Nikitha Thoduguli ’23 recently had their first-semester Capstone Projects selected as exemplary and published in Global Online Academy’s Catalyst Exhibition Showcase.

The projects were nominated by GOA teachers, and of the 880 student projects submitted, only 38 of them were selected and published. Each project opened with an engaging beautiful question, and the response was carefully researched, detailed, and compelling.

All three projects were noted as having great potential for making an impact. Learn more about each project below.
Grant’s Neuropsychology teacher, Leah Cataldo, had this to say about the project: “Grant does an outstanding job diving into this specific aspect of neuropsychology which is still developing and expanding through research. By drawing attention to bipolar disorder and extensively connecting it to both the structure and function of the brain, Grant provides context and depth to better understand the nature of emotions and the impact that this condition has on emotional processing. The call to action around education, awareness, and support is tangible and actionable for the audience to embrace as well.”

Katie’s Arts Entrepreneurship teacher, Jennifer Mack, had this to say about the project: “The presentation of Katie was personal and allowed the audience to understand her passion for art as she continued to develop her skills as an artist.”

Nikitha’s Macroeconomics teacher, Kristian Bodlay, had this to say about the project: “A comprehensive presentation that integrates macroeconomic terminology and concepts, connects to an issue of interest, and clearly evaluates the short-term and long-term implications.”
