Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!

Greenhill School was filled with smiling faces this morning as 1348 students were welcomed for the first day of the 2022-2023 school year. Students and teachers, new and returning, greeted each other with hugs and high-fives while posing for pictures.

Preschool students met their teachers on the Lower School steps and gave big hugs to their parents before being led down the breezeway to their classrooms.

Lower School students greeted their teachers and friends with excitement and boundless energy and headed to their classrooms to jump into learning.

Middle and Upper School welcome assemblies took place in the Marshall Family Performing Arts Center and focused on the 2022-2023 school year theme: Creating Connections.

During these assemblies, Head of School Lee Hark spoke about creating connections with classmates and teachers. He said, "We’re back to bringing people together, which is something that Greenhill does well. And those connections are vital... I’m glad we can create connections in a school where each person's whole self is welcomed, cared for, and seen as essential to the common good."
