Greenhill Band Students Awarded at End-of-Year Competitions

Congratulations to Greenhill Band members who participated in musical competitions at the end of the school year.

On May 28, 2022, three Greenhill students competed at the Texas Private School Music Educators Association State Solo and Ensemble Contest at Fort Worth Country Day. Deeya Bachani ’23 earned a Superior Performance medal for her marimba solo. The ensemble of Kaavya Sampath ’25 on flute and Prabath Girish ’25 on snare performed and received 2nd Divisions.

The 2022 Texas Flute Festival was held on May 19-21, 2022, at Coppell High School. Ayne Park ’24 earned Outstanding for her tenth-grade solo, Christan Park ’25 placed second in the ninth-grade category, and Bryan Kuang ’28 earned Outstanding in the elementary category.
