Upper School Quiz Bowl Team Finishes Fifth at National Tournament

Congratulations to the Greenhill Upper School Quiz Bowl Team for finishing fifth overall (out of 224 teams) at the 2021 High School National Championship Tournament hosted by the National Academic Quiz Tournaments, LLC (NAQT).The Greenhill team, which consisted of rising seniors Gokulan Anand, Josh Rubel (captain), and Shruti Siva along with rising sophomore Nikky Nandipati, posted a 6-2 record during the preliminary rounds. During the early rounds, the team posted victories over Solon "A", Decatur, and Stanton College Prep "B". In the playoff rounds, Greenhill knocked off top programs, such as Richard Montgomery "A" and Hunter "A" before falling to Detroit Country Day "A" and Thomas Jefferson Science & Tech "A" - two teams that reached the semifinals.Below are the results of Greenhill's run at the NAQT High School National Championship Tournament.PRELIMINARY ROUNDS (6-2)
