Greenhill MS Students Shine at Virtual TSJCL Competition
This past weekend, Greenhill Middle School students competed virtually at the Texas State Junior Classical League competition where they came away with outstanding results.
STATE PLAY CONTEST Despite not being able to perform their play, The Sirens, in person, the eighth-grade team of Reyna Diamond, Marina Richard, Pooja Sanghvi, Jnana Velamuri, and Zoya Iyer finished fifth overall.
PENTATHLON The Pentathlon is a test taken by all participating students at the State Convention, but this year, it was offered virtually and below are the Greenhill honors.
LEVEL II Zoya Iyer '24 – Cum Laude Marina Richard '24 – Cum Laude Eliza Lamster '24 – Cum Laude Pooja Sanghvi '24– Cum Laude
LEVEL I Aria Kutty '25 – Summa Cum Laude Brynn Zawadzki '25 – Maxima Cum Laude Varun Mukund '25 – Maxima Cum Laude Jenna Travers '25– Cum Laude
In addition, Aaron Kuang 'xx and Javier Johnson 'xx finished 11th and 16th overall in the National Classics Week Kahoot where they competed against 75 Middle and Upper School students from around the country.
