MS/US Quiz Bowl Teams Post Strong Results at Parish Tournament
The Greenhill Upper and Middle School Quiz Bowl teams both posted extremely strong results this past weekend at the Parish Episcopal School Tournament. UPPER SCHOOL
Greenhill's "A" Team - comprised of senior Bruno Pasquinelli along with sophomores Gokulan Anand, Josh Rubel, and Shruti Siva - finished third overall after posting an 8-2 record and advancing to the semifinals. In the tournament, the team defeated a strong Cistercian Prep School squad before falling to the top-seeded St. Mark's School of Texas in the Final Four. Greenhill's "B" Team - comprised of juniors Kevin Liu and Daniel Rothstein along with sophomore Ashton Higgins, and freshman Ahmed Agha - finished with a 4-4 overall record before falling in the octo-finals. MIDDLE SCHOOL
The Greenhill Middle School team captured its second tournament title of the season. The team consists of eighth-grader Nikhil Nandipati, seventh-grader Kaavya Sampath, and sixth-graders Katherine Ponnambalam and Evans Senvalds.
