Alumni family volunteer opportunity with NTFB

The Greenhill Alumni Board is partnering with North Texas Food Bank to respond to the needs of our neighbors in the aftermath of the tornado last weekend.

As you may have seen from social media, NTFB has activated its emergency response teams in close collaboration with the Salvation Army and American Red Cross to supply food and water throughout the area.

The Food Bank needs volunteers to keep up with the sudden uptick in demand (while still maintaining much needed services to the other parts of the NTFB’s 13-county service area that were unaffected by the storm).

What: Volunteer to help sort, bag, and box food for hungry North Texans in a warehouse environment while working cooperatively with other volunteers and staff. Closed-toe shoes are required.

Who: Adults and accompanied children, 8 years old+

When: Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 -11:30 AM
