Greenhill Seniors Commit to NCAA Division I Programs

Greenhill seniors JT Herrscher and Max Motlagh were both recognized on Wednesday after committing to continue their playing careers at the collegiate level in the fall.

Herrscher signed a National Letter of Intent for Track & Field to Stanford University, a member of the Pac-12 Conference. The Greenhill senior is currently ranked as one of the top pole vaulters in the State of Texas and currently owns Greenhill's school record by over two feet. Herrscher recorded a personal-record (as well as school record) at the 92nd Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at 17-0, which is the second-best mark in the country this season. A well-rounded athlete at Greenhill, Herrscher has been received All-Southwest Preparatory Conference honors on four occasions (two in football, two in track and field).

As one of the top boys tennis players to come through Greenhill, Motlagh committed to Boston College, a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Currently, Motlagh is ranked third in the State of Texas and 40th in the country at the high school level. During his time with the Hornets, Motlagh has accumulated a 40-1 record and is listed as a five-star recruit by the Tennis Recruiting Network. A three-time All-Southwest Preparatory Conference selection, Motlagh has helped the Hornets capture a pair of conference titles.
