Debate changes the way students think. It gives them skills that they will use throughout their careers.
Over the last three decades, the Greenhill Debate Team has amassed a level of success on the state, regional and national levels that is virtually unparalled. Under the steadfast leadership of Director of Debate & Speech Aaron Timmons and Associate Director of Debate Eric Forslund, the program continues to grow, and even surpass, the accomplishments of previous seasons.
The success of the debate program has increased Greenhill's exposure, not only in Dallas, but nationally and internationally. Aaron Timmons' perspective stretches far and wide. "Our program is increasing the academic reputation and perception of the School. Students who are skills in debate not only help the Greenhill community, but they also help the broader national community."
