Please come visit us! We welcome anyone who is considering Greenhill for their student to visit our campus and get to know us better. We offer several different options to get to know Greenhill, and we hope you will find something that is suited to your schedule. Below, you can read more about specific events and register to attend. 
 

Preschool & Lower School

  • Preschool/Lower School Preview Night

    Thursday, October 13, 2022, 6:00 pm* - 8:00 pm

    Our Preschool and Lower School Preview Night allows families to meet and visit with our faculty in their classrooms. Families will also explore the Preschool and Lower School curriculum. Our current fourth graders look forward to meeting you! The evening may be interesting to older students but likely isn’t appropriate for small children. Click here to register.

    *On the day of the event, check-in starts at 5:30 pm, and the program will begin in Rose Hall at 6:00 pm.
  • Preschool/Lower School Parent/Guardian Visits

    Thursday, December 1, 2022, 9:30 am - 11:00 am

    We host several combined Preschool and Lower School Parent/Guardian Visits in the fall to give you a chance to experience Greenhill during a typical school day. You will learn more about how Greenhill is living our mission from key administrators like our Head of School, Division Heads, and Head of Equity and Inclusion, have time for Q&A, and spend time seeing classes in action. An optional full campus tour will follow. Please only register for one Preschool/Lower School Parent/Guardian Visit event. Click here to register.
 

Middle & Upper School

  • Middle School/Upper School Preview Day

    Sunday, October 30, 2022, 2:00 pm* - 4:00 pm

    Preview Day is the perfect time for the whole family to visit Greenhill together. After our opening session, we will welcome you to choose your own adventure! Faculty, coaches, key administrators, and current students and parents will be on hand to guide you through an afternoon of discovery. Perhaps you want to learn more about Macroeconomics or Mexican history, engineering or improv, global literature or volleyball, filmmaking or genetics. Whatever your questions, Preview Day is your chance to experience our community and ask the experts. Click here to register.

  • Middle School/Upper School Parent/Guardian Visit

    Wednesday, January 11, 2023, 9:30 am - 11:00 am

    We host several combined Middle School and Upper School Parent/Guardian Visits to give you a chance to experience Greenhill during a typical school day. You will learn more about how Greenhill is living our mission from key administrators like our Head of School, Division Heads, and Head of Equity and Inclusion, have time for Q&A, and spend time seeing classes in action during a full campus tour. Please only register for one Middle/Upper School Parent/Guardian Visit event. Click here to register.
  • Optional Student Visits

    We offer optional student visits for Middle and Upper School applicants. Once you have submitted your application form and fee, look for the “Interview and Visit Form” in the parent portal checklist. You will have the option to schedule a student visit when you fill out this form. Students will have the opportunity to visit classes and have lunch with a host as well as complete their interview while visiting.  
     
    Dates will vary and will be updated throughout the year. We may not be able to accommodate everyone who wants a visit, and we encourage you to complete your application and Interview and Visit form early to ensure that we are able to schedule you.

  • Alumni Admission Virtual Session

    Tuesday, September 20, 2022, 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm CT via Zoom
    Join us for a virtual admission information session and Q&A specifically for alumni and former students. You’ll hear from Head of School Lee Hark and Admission and Enrollment Management Director Maryanna Phipps about the admission timeline and process. This session offers a great sneak peek as you plan for the future, and it includes dedicated time for your questions.
    If you’ll be entering the admission process this year, we hope to see you at an event on campus as well. 
    This event is open only to alumni and former students.
     
  • Hornet Tours

    We have many options to visit our campus during the school year. You may go on a tour during one of our admission events such as a Parent/Guardian Visit or at a Preview event. However, if you are unable to join us for an event or if you would prefer to go on a full campus tour at another time, we welcome you to register for a Hornet Tour. Our student Hill Guides lead campus tours and they usually last 45 minutes – 1 hour. We request registration as tour sizes will be limited. Check-in will begin in the Marshall Performing Arts Center lobby a few minutes prior to the tour departure time. Please only register for one Hornet Tour.

  • Virtual Financial Aid Night

    Thursday, January 19, 2023, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

    Join Director of Financial Aid Amy deBorst for an online information session about Greenhill financial aid. We will review our financial aid philosophy and process, and provide practical tips for completing the application.
