Greenhill recognizes the educational value of a school community that includes students with a variety of economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Our financial aid program supports that goal and is nondiscriminatory in practice.
Greenhill has a well-established and respected financial aid program that is fairly administered, clearly communicated and consistently applied in accordance with the principles and practices of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and the core values of the Greenhill community. The School’s financial aid program is designed to support families who demonstrate financial need. School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) is used in determining a family’s level of need. Greenhill does not offer merit or athletic scholarships. Additionally, students' need for financial assistance is not considered as a factor in the admission process.
Families can be assured that all information concerning financial aid is held in strict confidence by the School. Only those persons directly involved in the financial aid decision-making process or in its administration see this information.
In 2022-23, Greenhill School awarded over $5.9 million in financial aid and tuition remission to approximately 20% of the student body. Of these funds, $480,000 is earmarked to cover additional costs associated with attending Greenhill.
