The Cultural Arts Committee is a parent-run committee of arts enthusiasts that exposes Greenhill students to a wide variety of engaging arts opportunities support and enhance curriculum. Recent events include seeing Inherit the Wind at the Dallas Theater Center, learning writing techniques from New York Times best-selling authors, visiting a local animation studio, interacting with musicians during semi-annual Music on the Quad events, and practicing new choreography during a dance master class. These experiential activities enable the arts to come alive for students outside the classroom.

The Greenhill endowment funds - The Muriel Seldin General Endowment for Cultural Arts as well as the Ken & Becky Bruder '71 Cultural Arts - help support these curriculum-enriching events. Donating to one of these funds is a great way to honor a teacher, staff member or student and expand supplemental arts opportunities for students.

Throughout the years, Greenhill has hosted some of the top artists in their fields, including Steve O'Brien, owner of Reel FX, filmmaker Corrie Francis Parks, stage combat and glass artist Carlyn Ray. In addition, Caldecott author David Macaulay and popular children’s writer and screenwriter Stuart Gibbs have shared their knowledge with the Greenhill community, to name a few. Choreographers Taylor McKie, Ann Marie Ewert-Pittman, and Matthew Randsell hosted master classes for area dance students during the first-ever Greenhill Dance Invitational.
