With everything from educational seminars to dedicated divisional counselors to academic resource centers to healthy food in the dining hall, we make sure that all students are equipped with the coping skills and practical resources they need to thrive.

Student advising is a defining characteristic of the Greenhill experience. Three times a week, small groups of students meet with an advisory to discuss everything from class scheduling to communication skills to stress management. Advisory groups, which remain constant from year to year in Upper School, are strategically formed to bring diverse perspectives and compatible student-advisor pairs together. Not surprisingly, each group develops its own special camaraderie.
Students also receive frequent one-on-one guidance from their advisors. During individual meetings, advisors offer input on academics, discuss summer plans, help students navigate school resources and simply talk about school and life. Over time, advisors become valuable sounding boards for students and parents alike.
