Greenhill Alumni Family Volunteer Opportunity

The Greenhill Alumni Board facilitates several one-time service opportunities throughout the year for alumni, friends, and family to contribute back to the Dallas community.
On August 20, Greenhill alumni, family and friends are invited to participate in a local effort with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a non-profit founded in 1987 that provides nutritionally complete meals for malnourished children. More than 7500 volunteers are expected to work the three day event.

The local packing event takes place Thursday, August 17 through Sunday, August 20 at Parish Episcopal School on Sigma Road in Dallas. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and they ship these meals around the world. Through this powerful service, FMSC hopes to impact the lives of thousands of children.

We are seeking 20 volunteers for a shift on SUNDAY, AUGUST 20 at Parish.
All volunteer spots have been FILLED. THANK YOU!

What do you need to know before volunteering?
• The minumum age for volunteering is 5 years old. For safety reasons, children under the age of five are not allowed in the packing area.
• Volunteers should arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your packing session to check-in. Your orientation and packing instructions will take place during your scheduled shift time.
• We highly recommend all volunteers wear closed-toed shoes. Please come in clean, comfortable clothes. Do not wear or bring any jewelry. This is due to FDA compliance for food manufacturing plants.
