Southwest Preparatory Conference Announces Winter Award Winners

The Southwest Preparatory Conference announced on Monday that nine Greenhill students-athletes were honored with all-conference recognition.
 
The boys soccer team - who finished 15-5-2 overall and second place at the SPC Winter Championships - had four all-conference performers in seniors Christian Quintero and Benjamin Stromberg along with junior Brandon Aptilon and sophomore Hayden Gerrard. All four members of the Hornet soccer team were honored for the first time in their careers.
 
The boys basketball team - who finished with a 28-8 record and a third-place showing at the SPC Winter Championships had a pair of all-conference performers in juniors Xavier Bryant and Kassidy Woods. Bryant was honored for the fourth consecutive season while Woods earned all-conference accolades for the first time in his career.
 
The girls basketball team - who finished 26-8 overall, including a third-place finish at the SPC Winter Championships - had a pair of award winners in senior Ellen Margaret Andrews and Jade Curington. Andrews earned all-conference laurels for the fourth consecutive season while Curington became a two-time all-conference performer.
 
The girls soccer team - who finished 12-7 overall and ninth at the SPC Winter Championships had one award winner in senior Rheagan Smith. The Texas A&M signee earned all-conferences honors for the third time in her career.
