Hornet Sports Report - February 6, 2017

Girls Basketball
The Greenhill girls basketball team closed the regular-season on a four-game winning streak after defeating a pair of SPC opponents this past weekend. The Hornets - who are 24-7 overall and 6-1 in SPC Counter action - defeated E.S.D. (60-30) on Friday then Oakridge School (58-16) on Saturday afternoon.
 
Boys Basketball
The Greenhill boys basketball team notched a pair of victories this past weekend en route to improving to 26-7 overall and 7-1 in SPC Counter action. The Hornets defeated E.S.D. by a 60-52 count on Friday evening then collected a 63-49 victory over Oakridge School on Saturday.
 
Boys Soccer
The Greenhill boys soccer team posted a 0-0 tie with E.S.D. on Friday evening then defeated Oakridge School, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon. The Hornets will head into the SPC Winter Championships with a 12-4-2 overall record and 5-2-1 mark in conference action.
 
Girls Soccer
The Greenhill girls soccer team currently stands at 10-6 overall and 5-2 in SPC Counter action after posting a split this past weekend in conference play. The Hornets fell to E.S.D., 4-3, on Friday where Caroline Simpson scored two goals and Conchita Martin de Bustamante added a score. On Saturday afternoon, Rheagan Smith scored two goals and Gabrielle Coben notched a score en route to leading the Hornets to a 3-0 victory over Oakridge School.
