Greenhill Debate Students Shine at Tournament of Champions

The Greenhill Debate Team recently competed in the Tournament of Champions held in Lexington, Kentucky. This National Championship event had 300 schools from 40 States, including a team from Taiwan.
 
Adam Kesselman ’24 reached the semi-finals in Lincoln Douglas Debate and was the seventh individual speaker. He also posted a 5-1 record in the preliminary rounds of the competition.
 
Seth Lee ’24 reached the double octo finals (top 32) before losing an incredibly close split decision. He also posted a 5-1 record in the preliminary rounds.
 
The Debate Team is now preparing for the National Speech and Debate National Tournament in June to be held in Phoenix/Meza, Arizona, on June 11- 16.
