Hornets Best Allen Lax Club on the Road

The Greenhill girls lacrosse traveled to Allen to play in Allen’s Senior Night game on April 4. The team did well adjusting their tactics to Allen’s style of play. Greenhill played well in all three aspects of lacrosse: defense, transition, and offense. The team never quit and played hard all 50 minutes.

Sophomore Asha Blewett had an amazing game with 11 saves. The defensive unit played really well together and forced some crucial stops. Senior Charlotte Purcell stepped up with great defense and clearing the ball.

The offense worked as a team, and it showed. Seniors Katie Stone and Lexie Stone played a great game and ended the night with 6 goals, 4 draw controls, and 7 ground balls combined. Junior Devin Davis was a big help in the possession game with 5 draw controls, 2 goals, and a clutch-forced turnover near the end of the game to seal the victory.
