Greenhill 4th Grade Girl Scouts Smash Their Cookie Goal

Greenhill’s fourth-grade Girl Scouts in Troop 7012 just completed their 2022 cookie-selling season by selling over 6,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies, which equates to a business with revenues of over $30,000. The girls set personal and troop goals for their cookie business and, on average, sold over 350 boxes each and beat their stretch goal by over 22%. By selling Girl Scout cookies, they learn how to set goals, strategize their sales and marketing plan, confidently speak with customers, and manage money. The girls are excited that their troop proceeds will fund their spring campout. In addition to donating more than $1,200 of cookies to first responders, the girls also voted to donate a portion of their troop proceeds to Austin Street Center. A highlight of cookie selling always includes managing cookie booths. They were recently treated to a visit by Greenhill alumnus and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson (add his class year) at one booth! Way to go Girl Scouts!
