Learning for the Real World
At Greenhill, Middle School isn’t just a stepping stone to Upper School. It’s a special place where students are valued, nurtured and challenged to become their best selves. Guided by dedicated teachers who forge meaningful connections, our Middle School program encourages risk, teaches life skills, and offers warm support—all while engaging students in relevant academic learning.
Middle School builds skills, like self-advocacy and resilience, so that students become independent, qualified, interested, and engaged. We lay down a strong academic foundation for Upper School, but we’re always striving to make learning relevant and exciting right now. And we have fun. There’s a lot of fun happening here!” - Susan Palmer

Own Your Day
Students in the Middle School have a full schedule of academic classes, elective and fine arts choices, and PE/athletics. Each student takes courses in English, mathematics, history, modern or classical language, and science. Teachers work collaboratively to create engaging lessons that promote critical thinking and refine study skills. The best part? Students have abundant choices. Our vast menu of electives, clubs, arts and athletics opportunities allows each student to shape his or her own day.
