Hornets Compete at Texas Relays
The Greenhill track and field teams competed in the 97th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on March 28-29.
The Greenhill track and field teams recently competed in the 2020 Texas Relays in Austin.
- Rian Kinsler ran the 100m for the second season in a row, making the finals running a new PR of 11.91 (8th place).
- Nia Harrison competed in the high jump for the second season in a row, finishing tied for 2nd place (5’8”).
- Laid Burke competed for the first time in the 100m, running a season best of 11.33.
- The girls 4x400 relay team of (Rian Kinsler, Lilly Williams, Eden Collins, and Raelyn Young) ran a season’s best time of 3:58.91, qualifying for the finals for the first time since 2017. This was the fastest time the Greenhill girls have run in the 4x400 ever at the Texas Relays.
- The boys 4x400 relay team (Timo Kamgang, Gabe Shiloh, Gabe de la Torre, and Weber Hamilton) ran a season-best time of 3:30.26.
- The girls 4x100 relay team (Eden Collins, Nia Harrison, Raelyn Young, and Rian Kinsler) ran a season-best time of 48.78, qualifying for the finals and finishing in 6th place.
- The boys 4x100 was off to a great start in the prelims on Saturday, but an unfortunate injury prevented them from completing the heat. We look forward to getting the group back on the track, and healthy soon.

Rice Victor Lopez Classic
Chris Williams competed in the Rice Victor Lopez in Rice Stadium on March 27-29, where he placed 2nd in the 1500 Meters with a time of 4:03.16a.
