Greenhill Film Wins Best Screenplay at All American Film Festival

Congratulations to Teja Mettu ’23 and Krish Mysoor ’24 whose film won Best Screenplay at the All American High School Film Festival.

Of the 15,000 film submissions from over 50 countries to the 11th annual All American High School Film Festival, two Greenhill films were juried, nominated, and one ultimately won.

American Ball Game by Teja Mettu ’23 and Krish Mysoor ’24 was awarded Best Screenplay at the 2023 All American High School Film Festival. The film was also short list nominated for every major narrative short award including Best Overall, Best Direction, Best Screenplay, and the Maverick Award.

Crazy For Canes by Teja Mettu ’23 was short list nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Comedy. Teja is a first-year student at NYU Tisch School for Film Production.

Congratulations to these two filmmakers. We can’t wait to see this year’s 40+ films being made by the AVP students — 100% written, produced, and edited, by them.
