List of 13 frequently asked questions.

  • Q. What are the benefits of using the FACTS system?

    Benefits of using FACTS include:
    • Convenient and secure customized online payment plan sign-up.
    • Payment reminders five days prior to scheduled payment date, with the option for you to elect notification via email or text.
    • Multiple payment plan options, including by automatic bank payment, credit card payment with a 2.95% service fee, check, and online payment.
    • Ability to switch payment methods (e.g., from checking to credit card).
    • The ability to invite multiple users into the account to make payments towards tuition and fees.
    • Payments that can be made from your mobile device.
  • Q. If I am a returning family, how do I set up my payment plan for the next school year in FACTS?

In SchoolAdmin/Finalsite, all returning families will complete their re-enrollment contract. Upon completion, click the "Go to FACTS Tuition Management" button to set up your payment plan in FACTS. Please note: Families do not need to log in directly to FACTS. Access FACTS through SchoolAdmin/Finalsite during re-enrollment.
  • Q. If I already have a FACTS account at another school, how can I link my Greenhill account to it?

If you already have a FACTS account with another institution, we encourage you to use your existing FACTS login credentials.
  • Q. How should divorced or separated families set up a FACTS account to jointly pay for a child’s tuition?

FACTS only allows for one account owner. Divorced or separated families are not able to have dual accounts where charges are split between accounts. We recommend that the parent or guardian that elects the longer payment plan be the account owner in these situations. This will allow this parent or guardian the benefit of auto-withdrawal based on the selected payment plan. Additionally, the FACTS account owner will want to invite the other parent or guardian into the account so that they may make payments through FACTS. (See next question for details.)
  • Q. How do I allow additional people (or “authorized parties”) to make payments to an account?

After you have established your account, you will have the ability to invite additional “authorized parties” into the account. Click here to see a form entitled Adding an Authorized Party which explains this process. An authorized party is an individual(s) to whom you grant access to the account to view outstanding balances and to make payments towards those balances. An authorized party cannot setup automatic payments within FACTS, but they may store their credit card or financial institution information within FACTS for future use. Neither the account owner nor authorized party(ies) can see the financial information of the other. If you have multiple family members who make payments towards tuition and fees, we strongly recommend that you invite them to the account so that they will be able to make online payments.
  • Q. Why is my first payment higher than my remaining scheduled payments?

The first payment also includes student accident insurance and tuition refund insurance if you selected these optional fees when you signed your contract. These amounts, along with the annual deferral fee, are due in full, with the first installment of tuition if the 2 pay or 10 month payment option has been elected.
  • Q. What are the fees that FACTS assesses?

FACTS charges an annual fee based on the payment plan selected. This is a fee that is retained by FACTS. Greenhill does not receive any portion of this annual fee. The fee structure is as follows:
    • Tuition paid in one installment: $25.00
    • Tuition paid in two installments: $25.00
    • All other payment plans: $55.00

FACTS will withdraw the annual fee approximately 14 days after the payment plan has been finalized by Greenhill.

    Other FACTS fees include:
    • A service fee of 2.95% is assessed on all credit card transactions.
    • A $30 fee per occurrence is assessed by FACTS for unsuccessful auto-withdrawals from your financial institution or auto charges to your credit card based on the payment schedule.
  • Q. FACTS says my payment will be drawn from my bank on July 1, so why does my account have a debit for tuition on June 30?

FACTS must send the tuition payment information to the Federal Reserve one business day before the due date. The Federal Reserve notifies your bank upon receiving this information. Depending on your bank's policies, your bank may immediately put a pending authorization hold on the funds or release them upon receiving the Federal Reserve's notification.
  • Q. What if I have a child in the Greenhill Child Development Center? Will we use FACTS also?

All families with students attending the Child Development Center will also be required to establish a FACTS account. You will receive a communication detailing the process to create your FACTS account for the Child Development Center at a later date. At this time, you will only establish a FACTS account for your child attending grades PreK - 12.
  • Q. I’m registering my child for Summer on the Hill. Will those charges appear in FACTS?

Summer on the Hill registration and associated charges will not be included in your student’s FACTS account. Summer payments will be made through the Summer on the Hill registration system.
  • Q. My family receives financial aid or tuition remission. Will those amounts be reflected in FACTS?

Any statements or payment requests you receive in FACTS will reflect the financial aid or tuition remission your household receives.
  • Q. Does Greenhill accept international payments?

If you have questions regarding international payments please contact Mekdes Kifle directly.
