Hornets Earn Grace Prep Tournament Championship

The Greenhill boys basketball team were unstoppable at the Grace Prep Tournament on December 5-7.

Game 1: The Hornets faced John Paul II High School for the second time this season and earned the win again, 73-46. The following Hornets scored: Juan Barrientos (20), Dillon Watt (17), Kameron Smith (11), Eli Sims (9), Trey Davis (7), Declan Kirk (6), and Mason Finley (3).

Game 2: Next, the Hornets faced Lubbock Trinity, where they earned another win, 72-46. The following players got on the board: Dillon Watt (20), Juan Barrientos (19), Trey Davis (16), Bryson Watt (6), Eli Sims (5), Kameron Smith (4), and Declan Kirk (2).

Semi-final Game: The Hornets advanced to the championship game after defeating Texas Christian Academy, 57-45. Scoring for Greenhill were Dillon Watt (16), Trey Davis (12), Kameron Smith (11), Bryson Watt (11), Eli Sims (6), and Juan Barrientos (1).

Championship Game: The Hornets took care of business against Grace Prep in the final game of the tournament, winning 66-55. The following Hornets made points: Dillon Watt (30), Trey Davis (12), Jaxson Thompson (9), Kameron Smith (6), Bryson Watt (4), Eli Sims (3), Juan Barrientos (2).
