Greenhill Student Pay It Forward for Those in Need
Greenhill School students shopped and wrapped gifts for families in North Texas who have a child battling cancer as part of the Heroes for Children Teen Board.
Eighth-grader Carter Weinstein launched the Heroes for Teen Board this past fall and has amassed over 75 students from school across the Metroplex. In addition, seventh-grader Ellie Feldman chaired a holiday team from Greenhill as well as fourth-graders Ashley Weinstein and Remy Kim.
Below is a list of Greenhill leaders and their efforts/events as part of the Heroes for Children Teen Board during the fall: • Eighth-grader Ryan Newman chaired a team of 40 to raise funds for the Heroes for Children's Annual Heart of Gold 5K. • Eighth-graders Davis Gutow and Brent Ladin co-chaired a committee that will host a private movie day for Heroes for Children families. • Ninth-grader Samantha Ungerman chaired a committee that will bring care packages to newly-diagnosed/admitted children. • Senior Molly Bendalin chaired a committee that will host a Valentine's Party for patients and their families.
