Greenhill Middle School Students Earn JCL Medals

Last semester, a group of Middle School students took two Junior Classical League (JCL) national exams – the National Classical Etymology Exam (NCEE) and the National Roman Civilization Exam (NRCE). Greenhill was recently notified that multiple students were awarded medals for how well they did.

Congratulations to the following students who dedicated their time to independent study for these exams – outside of school hours and in addition to their participation in JCL.

The content covered in these exams differs from our Greenhill Latin curriculum. The NCEE is designed to test a student's ability to handle both Latin and Greek derivatives and their usage in the English language. The NRCE is designed to test a student's knowledge of ancient Roman society.
