Hornets Earn Third Place in SPC Championships
The Greenhill girls basketball team placed third at the 2023-24 Winter SPC Championships on February 8-10 in Houston.
The Hornets played well in the second half against St. John’s School, to put the game out of reach, winning 53-36, to advance to the semi-finals. Against Episcopal of Houston, the eventual SPC champions, the girls fought hard but lost, 47-59, to send them to the third-place match against Houston Christian, where they won, 69-47.
They finished the season 24-7 and 6-1 against SPC opponents.
