Hornet Sports Report - September 30, 2016

Boys Volleyball
The Greenhill boys volleyball team improved to 15-1 overall, including 1-0 in SPC Counter action, after posting a 3-0 victory (25-9, 25-15, 25-14) over Fort Worth Country Day on Thursday afternoon.
 
Girls Volleyball
The Greenhill girls volleyball team notched a 3-0 victory (26-24, 25-20, 30-28) over E.S.D. on Thursday afternoon in SPC Counter action. The Hornets improved to 21-7 overall, including 2-0 in conference play.
 
Senior Ellen Margaret Andrews notched a double-double with an 11-kill, 10-dig performance to go along with two blocks and one service ace. Junior Michal Mathis notched 11 kills, four digs and one service ace while Jessica Pugh recorded a team-high 12 digs to go along with three kills and one service ace. Allie Frymire dished out 31 assists to go along with five kills, five digs and four service aces, and Megan Olomu chipped in with five kills and two digs. Natalie Neiman notched four kills and three service aces, and Arfa Chowdhary and Ashley Isenbergn each recorded seven digs in the contes.
 
Field Hockey
The Greenhill field hockey team battled E.S.D. to a 1-1 draw on Thursday afternoon at home in non-conference action and are currently 2-6-1 overall on the 2016 season.
