Dallas Alumni Service Opportunity: September 14

Greenhill “encourages service” in the mission statement and that extends to our alumni, families and faculty. We can all make a difference!

The Alumni Board has several one-time service opportunities for our alumni throughout the year. No special training or experience is required. It’s a great way to interact with other members of our community.

Serve dinner at The Bridge
WHO: Five Alumni (adults only) No special credentials needed!
WHEN: Wednesday, September 14 (6 spots)
TIME: 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm
Please plan to arrive early for orientation and preparation at 5:30 pm. Dinner service is 6 p.m. – 7p.m.
WHERE: The Stewpot Second Chance Café at The Bridge at 1818 Corsicana St., Dallas, TX 75201.
HOW: Be one of the first five people to contact youngka@greenhill.org

WHAT TO WEAR: Casual clothing, closed toe shoes, long hair pulled back.

The Stewpot contracts with the shelter to serve three meals a day, seven days a week at The Bridge in the Second Chance Café - with the assistance of over 1300 wonderful volunteers a month! Volunteers dish up a delicious, nutritious meal prepared by The Second Chance Cafe Kitchen staff served cafeteria style. Volunteers also pour beverages for guests once they are seated. As a steward of The Stewpot, you help to serve second chances to men & women who live day-to-day in a precarious balance for survival.
