Greenhill Junior Named Large Private School Player of the Year

The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) announced on Monday that Greenhill junior Hayley Isenberg has been selected as the Texas Large Private School Player of the Year.The Greenhill forward led the Hornets to a 21-3 overall record, including a perfect 8-0 record in Southwest Preparatory Conference action. In addition, Isenberg led the Hornets to their first SPC Championship since the 1999 season. This past season, Isenberg averaged a double-double with 16.3 points and 12.4 rebounds per game and was among the team leaders in assists (4.5 per game) and blocked shots (4.0 per game). The Greenhill forward recorded a double-digit scoring performance in 22 of 24 games this past season.A two-time All-SPC award winner, Isenberg was also selected to the TABC All-State Team this past season and became the first player in Greenhill history to earn Private School Player of the Year honors.
