Hornets Finish Sixth in SPC Championships

The Greenhill boys golf team placed sixth at the 2024 Spring SPC Championships on May 1-2 in Houston.

After a disappointing first day (335), the boys rallied to put up a very respectable 313 day two on a course that has hosted multiple PGA events over the years.

Henry Zhong ’25 went out in 74 on Tuesday (+2) and followed it up yesterday by firing a 1-under-par 71 to win the SPC Championship by one stroke. Grant Colocousis ’26 shot a 2-over par on Wednesday to finish in a tie for ninth place.
