Health Screenings

Greenhill School has partnered with SchoolPass to conduct daily health screenings for our students and faculty this year. Starting in September, all students who are returning to campus will be required to complete a daily wellness check prior to arriving on campus. The CDC and TEA are recommending student and faculty screenings to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

COMPLETING YOUR WELLNESS CHECK WITH SCHOOLPASS
Once you have signed in, click the "Wellness Update" button. Answer the required questions and hit 'submit.' A green check will appear next to Wellness Status if your student is cleared to come to Greenhill. If you receive a red check next to the Wellness Update button, that means your child should not come to school. Please notify the Greenhill Nurse’s Office at greenhill_nurse@greenhill.org or (972) 628-5525 of the reason why your child did not clear the screening.

The screening will be required to be completed by 7:30 am for each day for students that are participating in on-campus learning. Upper School students who are engaging in the hybrid on-campus learning will need to complete the SchoolPass wellness check every day, even on days in which they are learning at home. Upper School students that are in stay-at-home learning and coming to campus for athletics practice will need to complete the screening app each day before 7:30 am.

SchoolPass will send you reminders to complete the survey each morning. We will be updating the system so that students who are participating in stay-at-home learning will not receive the daily reminders. While SchoolPass has assured us that they have the capability to handle the increasing number of schools that are starting to use this Wellness Screening tool, we understand that technical challenges sometimes occur.

If you are using the SchoolPass app with a child at another school, you will need to log out of the app and log back in, entering the Greenhill School code: 9726, to submit your screening for your child at Greenhill.

With any new system, there is a learning curve, and we are committed to assisting our families in successfully transitioning to SchoolPass for the daily health screening requirement. For technical questions about SchoolPass Wellness, please contact the Help Desk. For health-related questions, please contact Director of Student Health Services Katie Trimmer at greenhill_nurse@greenhill.org or (972) 628-5525.

(Note: SchoolPass also offers functionality for carpool. Greenhill is NOT using that functionality at this time, but we may in the future. Please disregard those buttons and features in the app at this time.)
