In line with recommendations from the CDC, the World Health Organization (WHO), and other state and local authorities, face coverings are mandatory for all faculty, staff, and students while on campus. Masks must be worn at all times except while eating, drinking water, and during explicitly designed "mask breaks" when physically distant from others.
Greenhill will provide students and faculty with three masks each. Additional masks will be available for purchase in the Buzz. Students and faculty members will be required to wear the Greenhill-issued masks
. If a student has a mask that they would prefer to wear, they may do so and then place the Greenhill mask on top of the preferred mask. Based on WHO guidelines, the Greenhill masks will be three layers thick of tightly woven material like cotton.
Face shields may be used in addition to the mask, but because they are not as effective at reducing the spread of germs, they may not be used in lieu of a mask.
Greenhill will not grant any exceptions for mask wearing. If a student has a medical reason that he or she is not able to wear a mask during the day, then that student should participate in the school’s stay-at-home learning option.
